I am a second-year PhD student currently affiliated with MILA, under the supervision of Siva Reddy and Karolina Stańczak. I am otherwise completing my PhD at The University of Copenhagen, within the Machine Learning Section, and affiliated with the Pioneer Centre and CopeNLU. I am supervised by Christina Lioma, Isabelle Augenstein, and Maria Maistro. I am involved in the ERRATUM and Algorithms, Data & Democracy (ADD) projects.
My research interests lie within using explainability and interpretibility to better understand social bias and quantify uncertainty in Natural Language Processing.
Previously, I worked as data science consultant at Capgemini and as a research assistant at SODAS as part of the HOPE Project. I have a Masters in IT & Cognition from The University of Copenhagen, and hold a Bachelours in Neuroscience from McGill University. In a past life, I worked as a research assistant in medicinal research at the University of British Columbia.
